Sydney JETAA welcomed delegates from JETAA chapters throughout Australia and New Zealand to the 2011 JETAA Oceania Regional Conference. The conference was held at the Vibe Hotel Rushcutter's Bay, from 11 to 13 November 2011.

Sydney JETAA extends its sympathy and best wishes to the people of Japan, as well as to JET participants and their families.
Sydney JETAA member, Sharon van Etten, recently returned to her community in Iwate on the JET Alumni Visit Tohoku Program (sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Japan Tourism Agency).
