Cambridge University Press book offer

Cambridge University Press is publishing this April "The Cambridge Companion to Modern Japanese Culture", edited by Prof. Yoshio Sugimoto (LaTrobe University).

The book has an international team of contributors including several Australian scholars: Hugh Clarke (University of Sydney), Morris Low (University of Queensland), Ross Mouer (Monash University), Craig Norris (University of Tasmania) and Kaori Okano (La Trobe University). It focuses on a period of the last 150 years and is written in a lively, accessible language. The range of topics covered is quite extensive: from literature, religion and patriotism to food, leisure, sports, housing and manga.
